100 YEARS AGO Feb. 11, 1914 Criticizing Attorney General William L. Moose’s opinion holding the Going law unconstitutional, Gustave Jones, an attorney at Newport, yesterday addressed a letter to Judge Moose. The writer suggests that the attorney general’s line of reasoning would also make the “Jim Crow” and other similar acts unconstitutional.
