Juan Day has signed with his favorite team.

The North Little Rock running back and lifelong University of Arkansas fan made his longstanding pledge to the Razorbacks official Wednesday morning, signing with the team on the first day of the spring signing period.

“I grew up a fan,” Day said.

Day inked with the Hogs in a signing ceremony in the North Little Rock High School gym with 11 of his teammates, who signed with various in-state and out-of-state programs.

The 6-2, 210-pound Day tore his anterior cruciate ligament early in the season, running for 294 yards and a touchdown before his season ended because of the injury.
