Fayetteville

  • Kelsey Rogers, 25, of 12952 Hickory Creek Road in Lowell was arrested Monday in connection with violating parole or a suspended sentence, resisting arrest and hindering apprehension or prosecution. Rogers was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,455 bond.

Siloam Springs

  • Ashley Hall, 29, of 1189 W. End Ave. No. 14 in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hall was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
  • Ricky Joe Veal, 43, of Farmington was arrested Monday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license. Veal was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

POLICE

Fayetteville

  • Two callers reported what sounded like gunshots after 11 p.m. Sunday near West Wedington Drive and North 46th Avenue. One caller eventually said the sounds likely came from fireworks.
  • A police officer reported his vehicle had been hit near West Poplar Street and North Gregg Avenue about 1 p.m. Sunday. Another unit was sent to pick him up.

Rogers

  • A theft was reported Monday at 3855 S. 26th St. A stolen credit card was used at multiple locations in Rogers.
  • A theft was reported Monday at Walmart Supercenter, 4208 S. Pleasant Crossing Blvd.

Springdale

  • George Bailey reported Monday the theft of his brown 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, a phone and debit card from 800-G W. Bailey Ave. The vehicle was recovered at Berryfield Apartments.
  • Juan Vasquez reported Sunday a burglary at 2845 Crooked Creek Apt. No. 201 with money missing.

ACCIDENTS

Rogers

  • Rogers firefighters stopped diesel fuel from leaking from a tractor-trailer on Interstate 540 at 9:45 a.m. Monday. A vehicle collided with the tank and caused the spill. Firefighters contained the leak and called a cleanup company.

Springdale

  • A woman was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale after a head-on collision at 2513 N. Thompson St. at 11:54 a.m. Sunday. A Ford pickup ran over the top of a Honda Accord. Name and condition of the injured were not available.

FIRES

Rogers

  • Firefighters responded to an unauthorized burn at about 1625 S. Dixieland Road. The fire was extinguished with a garden hose.
  • A house was on fire when firefighters arrived on scene at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at 903 W. Mulberry St. The home was about 25 percent destroyed with damages to property and the house estimated at about $100,000. No one was injured.

Springdale

  • Firefighters took a 30-year-old man who was arrested for public intoxication to the hospital Monday after he complained of hypothermia due to walking barefooted on city streets.
