THE SKINNY: Van’s Natural Foods is all about all-natural, gluten-free and whole grain.

Still, they don’t take themselves too seriously. After all, they named a cheesy flavor of their new Multigrain Chips “Nacho, Nacho Man” (the other variety: Mighty Good BBQ). Baked and made with brown rice, oats, millet, quinoa and amaranth, they lack the greasy greatness of real chips, but they still supply a salty crunch.

Also new to Van’s lineup: PB&J Sandwich Bars, available in blueberry and strawberry. Made with oats, actual peanut butter and fruit filling, the bars might be “made for the modern snacker,” as Van’s says on its website, they still appeal to the inner child.

Van’s products also include cereals, crackers, snack bars, french toast sticks, pancakes and waffles.
