Public Viewpoint: Let’s Use The Three-Letter Word Instead

Coralie Koonce (Public Viewpoint, Jan. 27) says “97 percent of climate scientists agree that climate warming trends are ‘most likely’ due to human activities.” Where does the 97 percent figure come from and how much is “most likely?”

She stated there are “no Obamacare insurance plans” but there is Obamacare medical coverage. A lot of people found that out when they could no longer have their prior medical coverage plans, the ones about which Obama told them a lie.

Young people have basically never cared about the elderly, the reason being they’re engrossed in themselves and wouldn’t know a public option from a public auction. However, Ms. Koonce could set up a booth outside Fayetteville High School and ask the students what a public option is. I’d be interested in the results.

Not long ago progressives coined the word “misspoke,” which means prevarication in English.

Now, Coralie has coined the phrase “over-optimistic miscalculation,” which sounds like something out of the Communist Manifesto propaganda guide.

Let’s agree to use the three-letter word instead.

It’s at both the end of the second paragraph above and at the end of Ms.

Koonce’s first name.
