Fayetteville Shelter Offers Puppy-Grams

FAYETTEVILLE — The city Animal Shelter is offering “puppy-gram” messages for Valentine’s Day this year.

Donations of at least $30 can get a 10-minute visit from a poodle named Rocko or a small terrier mix named Gabby, according to a news release from the shelter. The dogs will bring one rose and a card saying a donation has been made in the recipient’s honor.

Donations are tax-deductible and will go to the shelter’s operations throughout the year. Twenty slots are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 14. The visits can be scheduled only for Fayetteville addresses.

Those interested can sign up at the shelter, 1640 S. Armstrong Ave., or call 479-444-3456.
