Bentonville Man Arrested In Case

BENTONVILLE — A Bentonville man was arrested Thursday in connection with a robbery, according to the police department.

Alfredo “Freddy” Salazar III, 20, is being held in Benton County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Police began an investigation Jan. 26 after a robbery at an apartment complex, according to a news release.

A Hispanic man approached a woman’s car and demanded money after threatening her. The woman gave him the money and then drove away, according to the release.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the release.
