Marina Dolores Oporta became the bride of Paul Timothy Miller at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, in St. Peter's Catholic Church of Jupiter, Fla. Officiating was the Rev. Jean W. Boulin.

Dolores and Francisco Oporta of West Palm Beach, Fla., are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Edita Osorio de Gonzalez and the late Jose Constantino Gonzalez, both of Managua, Nicaragua, and the late Marina Huete de Oporta and the late Antonio Oporta, both of San Lorenzo, Nicaragua.

The groom is the son of Jerri and Michael P. Miller of Sherwood. His grandparents are the late Leona and W. Jarrell Lyons and the late Veronica and Rudolph Miller, all of North Little Rock.

The altar held three arrangements of champagne and white roses, white hydrangeas, green hypericum, alstroemeria and white delphiniums. Music was by pianist Gonzalo Gonzalez and vocalists Samantha Lograsso and Christopher Ramsey.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless white organza gown with an asymmetrically ruched sweetheart bodice and Swarovski crystal sash. She carried a bouquet of champagne roses.

The bride's honor attendants were Tanya Daniels of Hampton, Va., and Jennifer Kuretski of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Bridesmaids were Florence Kizza of Delray Beach, Fla., and Mariana Corrales of Palm Beach Gardens. Junior bridesmaids were Natalie Oporta and Irene Espinoza, both of Miami and cousins of the bride. They wore royal blue satin gowns and carried bouquets similar to the bride's.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Angelina Wiltz and George Wiltz Jr., both of Miami and cousins of the bride.

Eric Lucky of Denver was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Martin of Dallas, Dr. Paul Kurylo of Little Rock and Mark Clements of North Little Rock. Seating the guests were Mark Miller of Sherwood, brother of the groom; Anthony Oporta of Miami, cousin of the bride; and Francisco Oporta Jr. of West Palm Beach, brother of the bride.

A reception at Jupiter Beach Resort in Jupiter followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, hypericum, baby's breath and crystal-draped branches.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Florida State University at Tallahassee, and master's and doctorate degrees in nursing from the University of Miami. She is a family nurse practitioner.

The groom is a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville, and has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is a design engineer for Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.

The couple will make their home in Jupiter.
