Bus rides will be free on fixed routes during Monday through Wednesday and on Friday during Christmas week, according to an Ozark Regional Transit news release.
Ozark Regional Transit will be closed Christmas Day.
The free rides are for fixed-transit routes only and are meant to show appreciation to Northwest Arkansas residents. Demand response and para-transit routes will remain at the current fare rates.
The buses stop at multiple shopping areas including Frisco Station Mall, Harps Foods, Northwest Arkansas Mall, Pinnacle Hills Promenade and Walmart. Buses also go to local businesses in Farmington, Greenland, Johnson, Lincoln, Prairie Grove and West Fork.
