"The Nutcracker" -- The Moscow Classical Ballet returns for the third year in a row with an invitation to experience the sweetest of holiday traditions, "The Nutcracker." 7 p.m. today, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walton Arts Center at 495 W. Visit Santa on the Caboose -- Boys and girls are invited to visit Santa on the Frisco caboose in Rogers. Take family photos and deliver holiday wishes to Santa on a real caboose. A special mailbox next to the caboose is a great place to drop off your letter to Santa at any time. Festivities happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Walnut and South First streets in Rogers. Christmas With the Orchestra -- The Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra will perform its holiday musical program featuring concertmaster Er-Gene Kahng performing Vivaldi's thrilling "Winter" from "Four Seasons" on violin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Arend Arts Center, 1901 Southeast J St. in Bentonville. $5-$25. 841-4644.

A Night in Paris -- Join Holiday Hog, the official mascot for the Arkansas Trail of Holiday Lights, for photos at Santa's house on the square from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at 26 W. Walnut St. in Paris. Free. 963-2244.

Sweets With Santa -- Has your little one been really good this year? Then join Santa and his helpers for cookies and apple cider. Santa will read stories to the children and afterward, he will be available for gift requests and photo opportunities. Pet Food Drive -- Bring a donation of dry or canned pet food to the library and help us make the holidays merry for cats and dogs in Fayetteville. Open House -- Come see a Victorian-era Santa Clause in the morning and stay for the holiday music provided by the Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy String Quartet at the beautifully decorated Peel Mansion in Bentonville. Family Movie -- Bring the family to two movie afternoons at the Fayetteville Public Library.
