TUESDAY’S BOYS

DECATUR 56, OAKS, Okla. 40 Decatur used a 16-4 run in the first quarter to take down Oaks, Okla. Mario Urquidi led Decatur (6-4) with 22 points while Meng Vang put in 15 points and Victor Urquidi 10.

FLIPPIN 44, MELBOURNE 26 Dean Smyser scored 11 points as the Bobcats (15-5, 6-0) defeated the Bearkatz in a 3A-1 East game in Melbourne. Spencer Politte added nine for Flippin, which led 24-14 at the half and 35-19 after three quarters. HUNTSVILLE 42, PRAIRIE GROVE 38 River Gosvener led the Eagles (10-1, 1-0) with 13 points in a 4A-1 victory over the Tigers. Jose Aguillar added 12 points and Caleb Kirk 10 for Huntsville. Tanner Pursell led the Tigers with 10 points.

JASPER 70, DEER 43 Peyton Clark led the Pirates (17-3, 6-0) with 14 points in a 1A-1 East victory over the Antlers in Jasper. Jared Poyner added 11 and Wade Keef 10 for Jasper, which led 38-17 at the half. Brandon Willis scored 11 to lead Deer.

PARIS 74, ALMA 71 Sophomore Brandon Fenner scored 34 points as the Eagles defeated the Airedales.

POYEN 54, MOUNTAIN PINE 37 Daniel Goodman led the Indians (5-3, 3-0) with 16 points in a 2A-5 victory over the visiting Red Devils. Sam Jordan connected on 3 three-pointers and finished with 12 points for Poyen.

SLOAN-HENDRIX 49, HILLCREST 46 Tyler Murphy scored 20 points as the Greyhounds (11-4) defeated the Screamin’ Eagles in Lynn. Matt Wilkins added 11 points and eight rebounds for Sloan-Hendrix while teammate Logan McCain added 11 points and seven rebounds. Dyllan Nunnally scored 13 for Hillcrest.

WEST FORK 55, CEDARVILLE 30 Cody Roebke scored a game-high 15 points and Dalton Hays added 14 as the Tigers (5-5, 1-0) defeated the Pirates in a 3A-1 West game in Cedarville. Harrison Johnson scored 10 for West Fork.

WHITE COUNTY CENTRAL 48, WALNUT RIDGE 43 Trace Jones scored 18 points and the Bears (17-1, 6-0) rallied from a 23-14 halftime deficit to knock off the visiting Bobcats in a 2A-2 game in Judsonia. Garrett Horton added 15 for White County Central. Kenzie Flippo led Walnut Ridge with 20 points.

YELLVILLE-SUMMIT 70, BERGMAN 65 2OT Logan Lynch scored 27 points and Yellville-Summit (7-3, 4-2) rallied for a victory over host Bergman (7-9, 2-3) in a 3A-1 East game. Yellville-Summit trailed 48-44 with 18 seconds left in regulation, but hit a buzzer beater to tie the game at 49-49. Nick Allen added 13 points for Yellville-Summit. Brett Williams scored 22 points and Tyler Hinson 19 for Bergman.

TUESDAY’S GIRLS

ASHDOWN 50, ARKADELPHIA 36 Jada Fricks led the Lady Panthers (5-2, 1-0) with 13 points in a 4A-7 game in Arkadelphia. Lakendra Radford added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Ashdown. Shaycoa Poole scored nine points and made four steals for Ashdown.

BERGMAN 63, YELLVILLE-SUMMIT 35 Kyra Williams scored 17 points as Bergman (16-3, 4-1) built a 40-15 halftime lead on its way to a victory over visiting Yellville-Summit (7-10, 2-4). Abby Webb added 16 for Bergman. Justina Jenkins scored 14 and Kyli Duffy 10 for Yellville-Summit.

BRYANT 51, WATSON CHAPEL 34 Lauren Carroll scored 14 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 steals as the Lady Hornets (5-4) defeated the Lady Wildcats in Bryant. Raija Todd hit six consecutive free throws in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to help Bryant pull away for the victory. Todd and Maddie Baxter each finished with 11 points. Racheal Miller pulled down seven rebounds, all in the second half, for Bryant. Junior Shanna Shavers scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds for Watson Chapel while sophomore Cayla Trotter also scored seven points.

FLIPPIN 47, MELBOURNE 27 Jessica Pace paced the Lady Bobcats (12-4, 4-2) with 18 points in a 3A-1 East victory over the host Lady Bearkatz. Hannah Butcher added 10 points for Flippin.

JASPER 66, DEER 36 Sophomore Cassie Emerson scored 19 points in leading the Lady Pirates (18-5, 6-0) over the Lady Antlers in Jasper. Brittany Langdon added 17 and Makaela Jones 13 for Jasper, which led 34-11 at the half. Makayla Smith scored 11 to lead Deer.

JESSIEVILLE 49, MALVERN 30 Kellie Lampo led the Lady Lions with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a victory over the Lady Leopards.

LINCOLN 61, GRAVETTE 36 Jaycie Neely’s 21 points led the Lady Wolves (9-4, 1-0) over the Lady Lions in a 4A-1 game in Gravette. Shoni Rothrock added 14 points for Lincoln, which trailed 19-16 at the half but led 45-23 after three quarters.

MAYFLOWER 45, BENTON HARMONY GROVE 15 Sophomore Tori Lasker scored 23 points as the Lady Eagles (3-5, 2-1) posted a 3A-5 victory over the host Lady Cardinals. Janesha Walker added nine points for Mayflower, which led 35-10 at the half.

POYEN 45, MOUNTAIN PINE 36 Shelby Ellis hit 6 of 12 three-point attempts and finished with 23 points as the Lady Indians (9-1, 3-0) defeated the Lady Red Devils in a 2A-5 contest in Poyen. Lindy Shope added 14 for Poyen. Jordan Godwin scored 13 to lead Mountain Pine. PRAIRIE GROVE 47, HUNTSVILLE 46 Mattie Hartin took a pass from her twin sister Taylor Hartin and scored on a layup with :06 showing to send the Lady Tigers (3-8, 1-0) over the host Lady Eagles (7-4, 0-1). Mattie Hartin led Prairie Grove with 18 points. Shelbi McCartney scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the first half to pace Huntsville.

MONDAY’S BOYS

CARLISLE 48, DES ARC 37 Nick Schafer led the Bison with 14 points in a 2A-6 victory over the visiting Eagles. Devon Kendrick added 11 for Carlisle, which led 22-13 at the half. Colt Covington’s 14 points led Des Arc.

MALVERN 71, FOUNTAIN LAKE 59 Jordan Hughes scored 32 points in leading the Leopards to a victory over the Cobras (4-4, 0-1) in 4A-7 action. Devin Bradford added 14 and K.J. Felders 11 for Malvern, which outscored Fountain Lake 26-15 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory. The Cobras were led by 14 points from Take McKellar, 13 points from Sam Crutchfield and 12 points each from Justin Bates and Dustin Black.

MONDAY’S GIRLS

CARLISLE 50, DES ARC 40 Kyle Warren led all scorers with 24 points as the Lady Bison (6-3, 5-0) posted a 2A-6 victory over the Lady Eagles in Carlisle. Elex Mc-Clain added 17 points for Carlisle.

IZARD COUNTY 69, VIOLA 34 Freshman Jen King scored 19 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 3 steals as the Lady Cougars (15-5, 6-1) topped the Lady Longhorns in a 1A-2 North game. Sophomore Natalie Everett added 12 and sophomore Kristen Caraway 11 for Izard County, which led 37-22 at the half.
