Rogers

• Firefighters extricated an 11-year-old girl from an infant swing at 2:05 p.m. Saturday at Lake Atalanta Park, 120 N. Lake Atalanta Road. Firefighters used bolt cutters, a Dremel saw and a pair of tin snips to cut out the girl from the swing. The child was not hurt.

• Two children and a woman were taken to Mercy Hospital after the vehicle they were in struck a tree at 2:23 p.m. Sunday near Promenade Boulevard and Seminole Drive. An 8-year-old boy had arm pain, a 6-year-old boy had head and abdominal pain and a 29-year-old woman had chest pain.

• A 23-year-old man had hand and ankle pain and was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a vehicle collision at 4:48 a.m. Monday at 401 N. Eighth St.

Springdale

• A vehicle rolled onto its side after it struck a power line and gas meter about 2:45 a.m. Monday at 707 N. Old Missouri Road. The person or people in the car fled, according to the Springdale Fire Department.

• A 39-year-old man hit a parked car while traveling east on 3377 W. Huntsville Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The man wasn't injured, said Capt. David Kissinger, Springdale Fire Department.

Rogers

• One end of a fluorescent light socket shorted out at 9:13 a.m. Saturday at Kohl's, 301 N. 46th St.

• Firefighters put out a brush fire at 1:18 p.m. Saturday at Second Street and Stratton Road.

• Firefighters found electrical trouble that caused arcing at 6:13 p.m. Saturday at 1 E. Crestwood Drive.

• Cooking smoke set off a fire alarm at 8:54 a.m. Sunday at 2810 S. Laurel Crossing Circle.

• A grill fell over and caught grass on fire 7:10 p.m. Sunday at 5620 S. Brighton Road. No structure was involved, and the fire was out by the time firefighters arrived.

Gas Leak

Rogers

• Residents of a home were told to move to the front of the house, and two people in a truck were evaluated for natural gas exposure after the pickup they were driving struck a gas meter while trying to cross a backyard at 6:25 a.m. Sunday at 101 W. Post Meadows Drive. The gas company stopped the leak.
