Governor's appointments

Gov. Mike Beebe has announced the following education appointments:

Kim Davis, Fayetteville, to the State Board of Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2021. Replaces Brenda Gullett.

Milton "Olin" Cook, Russellville, reappointed to the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Appointment expires May 1, 2020.

Christopher Gilliam Sr., Magnolia, to the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Appointment expires May 1, 2020. Replaces Kaneaster Hodges.

Also, the governor has announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Bob Alexander, Little Rock, to the Health Information Exchange Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. Replaces Jason Lee.

Cody Beene, Center Ridge, reappointed to the Academic Facilities Review Board. Appointment expires Aug. 6, 2017.

Paul Bennett, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Southeast Arkansas College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires July 1, 2021.

Charles Butler, Malvern, reappointed to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2017.

Bradley Chilcote, Little Rock, reappointed to the Academic Facilities Review Board. Appointment expires Aug. 6, 2017.

Dr. Robert Dalby, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas State Respiratory Care Examining Committee. Appointment expires Aug. 7, 2017.

Tonia Daniels, Amity, to the Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2018. Replaces Ronda Gray.

Wilmon "Wayne" Edwards, Lake Village, reappointed to the Arkansas Towing and Recovery Board. Appointment expires June 22, 2017.

Ke'Arus Henderson, Little Rock, reappointed to the Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2019.

Ivan Hoffman, Van Buren, reappointed to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Appointment expires July 1, 2018.

Lynda Hogue, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2018.

Joe Kirby, Little Rock, to the Heating, Ventilation, A/C and Refrigeration Licensing Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2018. Replaces E. "Alan" Dean.

Marquita Little, Little Rock, to the Daisy Gatson Bates Holiday Committee. Appointment expires Jan. 31, 2017. Replaces Sybil Hampton.

Marc Lowery, Harrison, reappointed to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2017.

Joe Mencer, Lake Village, reappointed to the Boll Weevil Eradication Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2018.

Ben Pickard, Searcy, reappointed to the Arkansas Student Loan Authority. Appointment expires July 8, 2018.

Becky Pryor, Little Rock, reappointed to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2017.

Dr. Nancy Faye Rector, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Respiratory Care Examining Committee. Appointment expires Aug. 7, 2017. Replaces Dr. James Phillips.

Pamela Richard, Little Rock, reappointed to the State Fire Prevention Commission. Appointment expires July 18, 2017.

Christopher Sanborn, Mountain Home, to the Marine Sanitation Advisory Committee. Appointment expires Oct. 5, 2015. Replaces Robert Griffith.

Angela Sanders, Benton, reappointed to the Arkansas State Respiratory Care Examining Committee. Appointment expires Aug. 7, 2017.

Dr. Steven Strode, Sherwood, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2017.

Greg Stubblefield, Little Rock, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2017.

Deb Tackett, Nashville, to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2017. Replaces Marilyn Chambers.

Dr. Karl Wagenhauser, Hot Springs, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2017.

Dechantria Wallace, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2017. Replaces Kimberly Miller.

Dennis Wiles, Horseshoe Bend, reappointed to the Ozarka Technical College Board of Directors. Appointment expires July 1, 2021.

Karena Wilkins, North Little Rock, to the Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2019. Replaces Deanna Bryant.
