Gordon expecting Stewart's best

Tony Stewart returned to the pits during practice Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Stewart is competing this weekend for the first time since the Aug. 9 sprint car incident in which 20-year-old Kevin Ward Jr. died at a dirt track in upstate New York.

Jeff Gordon is expecting Tony Stewart to be a contender in his return to the track.
