ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT

The Arkansas Society of Association Executives recently installed new board officers and members for 2014-15 at their annual banquet in Eureka Springs. They include:

Brent Stevenson of Brent Stevenson Associates, president; Kenny Hall of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas, past president; Vicki Farmer of the Arkansas Optometric Association, vice president; and Brian Itzkowitz of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas Inc., secretary/treasurer.

New board members are Max Braswell of the Arkansas Forestry Association, Nancy Elphingstone of Homecare Association of Arkansas, Karen Hutchins of the Arkansas Bar Association, Rita Madison of the Arkansas Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Derek Rudkin of the Pulaski County Medical Society and Jodiane Tritt of the Arkansas Hospital Association.

Celine Peruzzi of Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas will serve as ex-officio on the board.

CONSTRUCTION

East-Harding Construction has announced the promotions of Zane Garrett to project manager and Cory Bennett and Mason McBroom to site superintendents.

EDUCATION

Dr. Anarella Cellitti, an associate professor of teacher education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was recently named to a three-year term as education vice-chairman for the International Medical Interpreters Association.

ENTERTAINMENT

Jimmy Barber has joined Oaklawn Racing & Gaming in the newly created position of gaming food and beverage manager.

LEGAL

Quattlebaum, Grooms, Tull & Burrow PLLC recently announced the addition of Justice J. Brooks and Daniel D. Ford as associates to the law firm.

MEDICAL

Brad Brannon is the new chief financial officer at Pediatrics Plus.

Dr. Adib Abla, a neurosurgeon, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute.

NONPROFIT

Arkansas Voices for the Children Left Behind has announced the addition of Janelle Evyan to its board of directors.

Dee Ann Newell, executive director of Arkansas Voices, was recently selected to be a member of the advisory board of the National Resource Center for Children and Families of the Incarcerated at Rutgers University.

The Arkansas Land Title Association recently installed Jimmy D. Dill of Pine Bluff as its new president for 2014-15.
