Work on the Interstate 430/Interstate 630 interchange in Little Rock will require overnight lane closures and detours beginning Tuesday night, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The removal of safety platforms and painting steel beams on the new bridge over South Shackleford Road will affect traffic on Shackleford in both directions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night through Friday, weather permitting:
• Northbound traffic on Shackleford will be detoured onto I-630 east, through the cloverleaf ramps to I-630 west and back to Shackleford. Northbound traffic going east on I-630 can proceed normally.
• Southbound traffic on Shackleford wanting to go east on I-630 will detour west on Financial Centre Parkway to Hermitage Road, east to Shackleford and then north on Shackleford for access to I-630 east.
• All other southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and will also detour west on Financial Centre Parkway and back to Shackleford using Hermitage.
All lanes of Financial Centre Parkway/I-630 will be open, the department said.
