Faith in Action

2 5 p.m. -- Savor the Flavor, the self-guided restaurant tasting tour to benefit Faith in Action, will include restaurants on and around Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased the night of the event, if they are not sold out. Savor the Flavor has sold out of tickets before the event date each of the past four years. Boots and Bling Ball

5 7-11 p.m. -- The second annual Boots and Bling Ball to benefit the Donald W. Reynolds Crisis Intervention Center will be at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Benefit Auction

Nomad Shrine Club

6 8 a.m. -- The Nomad Shrine Club of Bella Vista will hold a benefit auction at First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive (off of Lancashire Road) in Bella Vista. Auction items will include household goods, sports items, pet and garden supplies, jewelry and a large assortment of watches, toys and furniture. Food service will be available for breakfast and lunch. All proceeds from the auction go to providing transportation to several of the 22 Shrine Hospitals, which provide free medical treatment for children with burn, orthopedic and cleft palate issues regardless of the family's ability to pay. 9 6-8:30 p.m. -- The annual Chefs in the Garden fundraiser for the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville will be held at the garden. The evening will include cooking demonstrations, sampling, wine tasting and complimentary bar. The 2014 honorary chairman is Chef Steven Brooks. Seedling Soiree and Harvest Party

12 3-6 p.m. -- Cobblestone Project will hold the Seedling Soiree at Cobblestone Farm, 5494 W. Wedington Drive in Fayetteville. The family event will include the Ozark Celtic Band, apple bobbing, horseback riding, kids' yoga and arts and crafts. Admission for children younger than 12 years old is $5 or free with a donation of art supply, hygiene product or non-perishable food item.

Polo in the Ozarks

13 4 p.m. -- The 25th annual Polo in the Ozarks will be held at the Buell farm in Goshen. The polo grounds are approximately 5 miles east of the intersection of Arkansas 45 and Arkansas 265 in the Polo Country Estates. The family-friendly event will include a live polo match, tailgate parties, children's activities, dancing and live and silent auctions. There will also be a best hat contest for ladies and a bow tie contest for gentlemen.

Tickets for the polo match and tailgating only are $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 7 to 12. Admission is free for children 6 and younger. Admission to the full event -- polo match, dinner and dance -- is $100 for adults and $25 for children ages 7 to 12. Are You Smarter Than a Haas Hallian?

18 6-8 p.m. -- The second annual Are You Smarter Than a Haas Hallian? to benefit the Haas Hall Academy Foundation will be at the Fayetteville Town Center. Local celebrities will try to match wits with Haas Hall Academy's state champion Quiz Bowl team. Contestants will be Bootsie Ackerman, Alan Dranow, Mark Dutton, Sarah Kendall, Bo Mattingly and Judge Stacey Zimmerman, with John Threet as master of ceremonies. Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter

19 8 a.m.-5p.m. -- The fifth annual Kick the Competition kickball tournament to benefit the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter will be played at Memorial Park in Bentonville. Teams may be co-ed with eight to 12 players and will play at least three six-inning games the day of the tournament. Concession packages with lunch and snacks are available for $20 per player.
