Benton County Sheriff's Office

• Jakob Gage Hitchcock, 19, of 13221 Taylor Orchard Road in Gentry was arrested Sunday in connection with possession of a controlled substance and contempt. Hitchcock was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Rogers

• Maria Elizabeth Garcia, 36, of 809 E. Eastview Road was arrested Monday in connection with two counts of financial identity fraud, forgery in the first degree and obstructing governmental operations. Garcia was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Washington County Sheriff's Office

• Jeffery Nickerson, 23, of 1629 Carlsbad Trace in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with violation of probation or a suspended sentence. He was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

• Misty Smith-Seiff, 31, of 18206 Clear Water Road in Fayetteville was arrested Monday in connection with violation of probation or a suspended sentence. She was released Monday from the Washington County Detention Center on no bond.

Accidents

Fayetteville

• A one-vehicle accident happened Sunday evening at West Wedington Drive and North Oak Drive. The driver, a 47-year-old man, was trapped for eight minutes before being removed from his car. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

Rogers

• A 47-year-old woman with head pain was taken to Mercy Hospital at 7:52 p.m. Friday after a vehicle accident at Eighth Street and Post Road.

• A 49-year-old woman with head pain was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at 46th and Walnut streets.

• A 46-year-old man with back pain was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a vehicle collision at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at 13th Street and Hudson Road.

Fire

Rogers

• A resident put out a fire after firefighters told him he needed a permit at 2:02 p.m. Saturday at 315 S. Promenade Blvd.

• A homeowner caused a fire while using a propane torch to burn weeds at 7:50 p.m. Saturday at 2701 S. Laurel Crossing Circle. The homeowner put out the fire. Firefighters told the man to stop using a torch to burn weeds because it's against city code.

• Firefighters put out a vehicle fire at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at McDonald's, l903 W. Walnut St.

• A red and white Honda Ruckus scooter was reported stolen Sunday at 15 N. Palmer Ave.

• Theft was reported Sunday at 3857 N. Mall Ave.

Rogers

• Theft of wooden apple crates was reported Sunday at Outside the Box Flea Market, 1225 W. Hudson Road.

Springdale

• A break-in was reported Monday at 4303 Watkins Ave.

Washington County Sheriff's Office

• Forgery or fraud was reported Monday at 16183 Hickory Drive in Fayetteville.

• A burglary was reported Sunday at 19778 Tupelo Road in Springdale.
