FAYETTEVILLE -- Continued sidewalk construction will require closing a half-mile stretch of Halsell Road and Sang Avenue for the next six weeks, according to a city news release.
The closures are between Sang and Cross avenues on Halsell Road and between Cleveland Street and Halsell Road on Sang.
City transportation crews are constructing a sidewalk along the south side of Halsell and along the west side of Sang. New curbs and gutters are also being added.
Street closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Detour routes will be marked. The streets will be open nights and weekends.
