Brit filmmaker great dies at 90

Attenborough’s Gandhi a hit

British actor and director Richard Attenborough holds his two Oscars for his epic movie Gandhi at the 55th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles in 1981. The acclaimed actor and Oscar-winning director, whose film career on both sides of the camera spanned 60 years, died Sunday. He was 90.
