Think outside of the frame for displaying

Think beyond the frame when choosing ways to use photos:

• Insert photos into differently sized and shaped bottles and jars.

• Trim photos into circles and glue them onto vintage saucers or plates to display.

• Stick around by making custom, repositionable wall decals at PaperCulture.com in a variety of shapes and sizes.

• Upload photos to one of the myriad photobook sites (e.g., Shutterfly.com, Snapfish.com, Picaboo.com) and create bound books that will last for generations.

• Look good enough to eat by ordering sugar cookies with your photos printed on them at BakingforGood.com or edible chocolate photos at Cocoagraph.com.

• Apply photos to a piece of furniture (e.g., a bench, the back of a chair or a dresser) using a decoupage medium (such as Mod Podge).

• Create a custom cookbook at sites such as Tastebook.com and include family recipes along with photos of the creators.

• Create puffy pillows with your (or anyone else's) faces on them at Pillowmob.com.

• Create your own guest soaps by melting glycerin soap into a small milk carton and inserting a photo into the middle. Let the soap set in the freezer for a couple of hours to set firmly before tearing off the carton.

• Sew up a memory with custom fabric printed with your photos at Spoonflower.com or FotosonFabric.com.
