NWA Preparedness Fair Is Saturday

BENTONVILLE -- The annual Northwest Arkansas Emergency Preparedness Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,.

The church is at 1101 McCollum Road, according to a news release.

The fair is free and lunch, free weather radios to the first 100 families and free child identification cards will be given away, according to the event website.

There will be more than 70 booths, a generator giveaway and other door prizes and activities for children. Classes on preparedness topics will be held throughout the event.

"The goal of the NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair is to help residents of Northwest Arkansas obtain the information they need to prepare their families, neighborhoods, and community for a variety of emergency situations," according to the website.
