A man killed in a Washington County house fire Aug. 7 has been identified as Dale Cheatham, 62, according to a news release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The cause of death was smoke inhalation, however, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Cheatham died during a fire at his home at 10195 Daisy Lane, near Greenland. His body was recovered from the home by firefighters and sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification.
