Two Arkansas men died in separate car accidents Saturday, according to Arkansas State Police.

The first accident occurred at 4 a.m. on U.S. 65 in Bee Branch. Zachary Walters, 19, of Bee Branch, was driving his Chevrolet north when he left the road and struck a culvert and a tree.

According to police, conditions were clear and roads were dry at the time of the accident.

Dennis Nelson, 51, of Marvell, died after an accident on Arkansas 243 in Phillips County.

Nelson was driving his Chevrolet pickup north about 4:30 p.m. Saturday when the left rear tire blew out, police said. Nelson lost control, and the pickup went into a ditch and overturned.
