Jamison Stiles, a former Fayetteville police officer, pleaded guilty Friday afternoon to sexual assault in the second degree in a plea bargain with prosecutors.
The plea bargain closed two cases against Stiles, who was set for trial on a rape charge Monday in Washington County Circuit Court.
Stiles was accused of raping a police dispatcher and sexually assaulting a woman he took home from a nightclub in separate incidents. He was fired from the department after he didn't cooperate with investigators.
Stiles was a patrol officer in Fayetteville since 2011, and had previously worked for the Rogers Police Department.
