A Harrison teenager died Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Boone County, Arkansas State Police reported.
Taylor O'Leary, 17, was driving east on U.S. 62 when her vehicle crossed the centerline about 3:33 p.m. A 2007 Volvo traveling in the opposite direction swerved to avoid O'Leary's 2003 Buick, but the vehicles collided. O'Leary was killed.
A 16-year-old passenger in her vehicle, Payton Tucker, was injured. The driver of the Volvo, Linda Marcum, 58, was also injured. They were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., for treatment.
Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred, according to state police.
