Volunteers needed today, Thursday to unpack bikes

FAYETTEVILLE -- Volunteers are needed today and Thursday to help unpack another shipment of bicycles.

The volunteers will also get them ready for mechanics to finish the assembly. Volunteers will also help process the recyclable packing materials.

The sessions are scheduled from 3-8 p.m. today and Thursday in the Fayetteville High School Agriculture Department bays on Bulldog Boulevard.

Drop by for a while either day and help get the bicycles ready for the start of school.

A new bicycle education program, featuring safety and maintenance, is being offered in all schools in the district this coming school year.
