Wedding vows were exchanged by Laura Elizabeth Morledge and Kendall James White at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in Calvary Baptist Church. The father of the groom officiated.

Parents of the bride are Terry and Mike Morledge, 7 Woodstock Court. Her grandparents are Ila and the late Al Sass of Fort Smith and the late Betty Claire and George Morledge Jr. of Forrest City.

The groom is the son of Sue and Russ White, 31 Jacob Place. His grandparents are Jackie and James White of Rome, Ga., and Laverne and the late Arvel Garner of Little Rock.

Music was by pianist Michael Friesen with special music by Taylor White and Libby White, the groom's brother and sister.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless ball gown with a ruched bodice and asymmetrical draped silk skirt with side ruching and intricate pleating. She carried a pink, orange and coral bouquet of peonies, roses and dahlias.

Serving as the bride's honor attendants were Stacey Harris and Heather Lapp, sister of the bride, both of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Claire Morledge and Molly Barber, both of Fayetteville and sisters of the bride; and Libby White, sister of the groom, and Elizabeth Steger, Abigail Dietrich, Emily Keener and Callie Aday, all of Little Rock.

They wore floor-length Empire gowns of toast-colored taffeta and carried bouquets of coral and orange flowers.

Flower girls were Emma Lapp and Avery Lapp of Little Rock, nieces of the bride.

Taylor White of Little Rock served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Matthew King and Grant King, both of Maumelle and cousins of the groom; Lucas Nossoman of North Little Rock; Spencer Carroll of West Monroe, La.; and Ryan Johnson, Laza Razafimanjato and Jason Lapp, all of Little Rock.

A reception at The Junior League of Little Rock building followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered in white cloths with multi-color floral runners and held large pink, orange and coral floral arrangements or displays of white pillar candles.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She graduated summa cum laude and was a Chancellor's Scholar. She is an accountant at McIlroy, Keen, Goodman LLP.

The groom graduated cum laude from Harding University in Searcy with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and was a Trustees Scholar. He is an electrical engineer at Garver Engineers.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to London and Paris.
