James DiLorento of Fayetteville graduated May 30 from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. A record 3,994 students graduated from UMass Boston at the May ceremonies.

LaTonya Taylor of Bentonville was recently inducted into Lambda Alpha at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. Lambda Alpha is a national honor society for the recognition and promotion of excellence in the study of anthropology. To be eligible for induction, a student must be an anthropology major who has reached junior status, including 12 hours of anthropology/sociology coursework. The student must have earned a 2.5 or higher grade point average in anthropology coursework and a 3.0 or higher overall grade point average.

Luke Funk of Siloam Springs has been named to the spring 2014 President's List at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Funk achieve a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Morgan McCormick of Rogers is one of 745 students who were named to the spring 2014 Dean's List at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Students qualify for the Dean's List by maintaining a 3.6 grade point average in their academic subjects. McCormick is a polical science major.

Erin McKinney of Springdale was among the 1,488 students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater who received degrees this spring. McKinney graduated with a master of science degree in education in professional development.

Tyra Bullock of Fayetteville was named to the spring 2014 President's Honor Roll at Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours during a semester and maintain a GPA of 3.9 or higher to meet the President's Honor Roll requirements.

Stephanie Warner of Fayetteville has been named to the spring 2014 Chancellor's List at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. To be named to the Chancellor's List, a student must have completed at least nine hours for credit and maintained at least a 3.9 grade point average.

Kimberly Gresham of Pea Ridge has been named to the spring 2014 Chancellor's List at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. To be named to the Chancellor's List, a student must have completed at least nine hours for credit and maintained at least a 3.9 grade point average.

Katie Vanpool of Rogers has been named to the spring 2014 Chancellor's List at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. To be named to the Chancellor's List, a student must have completed at least nine hours for credit and maintained at least a 3.9 grade point average.

Connie Moloney of Bella Vista has received the Randy Thurman Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year. Moloney, a civil engineering major at the University of Arkansas, received the award from the Arkansas Environmental Association. She was also invited to attend the group's annual convention and trade show Oct. 30-31 in Hot Springs to be recognized for her achievements. The scholarship carries a $2,500 award.

Three students at Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale recently returned home with medals from the Arkansas SkillsUSA competition and advanced to the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Mo. Rhyan Judd won a gold medal at the state automotive service technology competition and places 26th in the national contest. Charlie Osburn won gold in refinishing at the state contest and place 21st in the national competition. Levi Watkins earned bronze in the collision repair technology state contest and placed 26th in the national contest.
