Tornado deaths reach 15

Day after, state takes inventory of damage

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/BENJAMIN KRAIN --04/28/14-- Residents and rescue workers search through destroyed homes in the Park Wood Meadow neighborhood of Vilonia where several people died Sunday night during the storm.

National Weather Service officials estimated Monday that the tornado that killed at least 15 people Sunday night had wind speeds of up to 165 mph as it carved a 40-mile-long path of destruction through central Arkansas.
