Northwest Arkansas 5, Tulsa 1
J.C. Sulbaran pitched six shutout innings Friday night, and Jorge Bonifacio drove in three runs as the Naturals took the first game of a short two-game series at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Okla.
Sulbaran (1-1) allowed three hits while striking out two and walking four before Wilking Rodriguez and Malcom Culver finished. Tulsa (10-11) avoided the shutout with a two-out run in the ninth.
Northwest Arkansas (7-14) erupted for four runs in the seventh, highlighted by Bonifacio's three-run double. Bonifacio scored the final run on a single by Whit Merrifield.
The teams play again tonight in Tulsa, then head to Arvest Ballpark for afternoon games Sunday and Monday.

Bentonville 6, Berryville, Okla. 1
Cody Scroggins and two relievers combined for a five-hitter, and Paul Rouse went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate as Bentonville knocked off Berryville in nonconference action Friday at the Tiger Athletic Complex.
Scroggins (1-0) worked four innings and allowed one run on two hits while striking out five. Troy Cahill pitched one inning, then Payton Fitch pitched the final two innings and picked up the save.
Scroggins helped his cause with two hits and scored a run. Cahill added two hits and drove in two runs for the Tigers (19-4).
Bentonville returns to 7A/6A-West Conference action Thursday with a doubleheader at Springdale Har-Ber.
Rogers High 7, Lawrence, Kan. 3
The Mounties (11-11) scored four runs in the first inning to take a win at a tourney in Kansas. Carter Forbis was 3-for-3 with two singles and a double. Rogers finished with 11 hits. Nolan Farnan added two hits.
Brett D'Amico struck out four in six innings of work. Derek Sallee got the save for the Mounties.
