Wallis appointed Noblett to the Planning Commission in the early 2000s, Noblett said.

“With his years of service on the council, he is well aware of the needs of the town now as well as all future growth,” Wallis said. “He has worked hard to preserve the ‘hometown’ feel to a growing town. He will help move Cave Springs into the growth we all see coming to this area.”

The filing period for municipal elections is from July 25 to Aug. 15. The general election is Nov. 4.
