An Art Affair

Cystic Fibrosis

3 9 a.m.-noon -- Great Strides, the largest fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will be held at Bentonville Plaza. The day includes children's activities, food, music and a 2-mile walk. Information: cff.org.

Dogwood Walk

Humane Society of the Ozarks

3 9 a.m.-noon -- The 22nd annual Dogwood Walk to benefit the Humane Society of the Ozarks will be at Gulley Park in Fayetteville. The dog-friendly event will include dog contests and challenges, photos with your dog, face painting and balloon animals and awards for exceptional dogs and their people. Dan Skoff will be the event's grand marshal. Attire for the event is red, white and blue, in keeping with this year's patriotic theme. Tickets are $20 for society members and $25 for nonmembers. Touch a Truck

Junior League of Northwest Arkansas

3 10 a.m.-2 p.m. -- The eighth annual Touch a Truck fundraiser for the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas will be in the JCPenney parking lot at Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers. Children will be able to explore emergency vehicles, construction trucks, motorcycles, tractor-trailers and boats. There will be local dance teams, sports teams, costumed characters, mascots, building projects, fingernail painters and food trucks.Tickets are $5 each or $20 per family. Rain date is May 17. 5-16 -- The United Way of Northwest Arkansas will conduct the inaugural Help Keep 'Em Covered Diaper Drive to help stock the Northwest Arkansas Diaper Bank for parents in need. Ways to help include purchasing a pack or more of diapers and dropping them off at the United Way of Northwest Arkansas, 100 Parkwood St., Suite C, in Lowell, donating money to go directly to diaper purchase for the Diaper Bank and hosting a diaper drive in your office or business.
