BENTONVILLE -- A Rogers man was arrested Sunday in connection with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Heath Brandon Woods, 34, was being held in the Benton County Jail on a $10,000 bond Tuesday. Woods was arrested in connection with sexual assault in the second degree, a Class B felony punishable with a prison sentence ranging from five to 20 years if convicted.
Prosecutors haven't filed a formal charge against Woods.
Rogers police received a telephone call Sunday concerning a sexual abuse case, according to court documents.
Woods denied having sexual contact with the girl.
