SOFTBALL Arkansas defeats Kentucky
Arkansas defeated Kentucky 8-0 Sunday in Lexington, Ky.
Grace Moll pitched a complete-game shutout to improve to 10-5 on the season. She held Kentucky to 3 hits while striking out 5 and walking none.
Kasey Fagan had six RBI to lead the Razorbacks (26-22, 4-14 SEC). She had a bases-loaded double in the first inning and another in the sixth inning. Chloe Oprzedek hit a home run in the second inning.
GOLF Arkansas women finish third in SEC
Arkansas finished third in the SEC Championship in Birmingham, Ala., with a 892. The Razorbacks finished 13 shots back of first-place Vanderbilt (879), while South Carolina (890) was second and Alabama was fourth at 896.
Sophomore Gabriela Lopez finished tied for second overall with a 217 (73-72-72). Senior Emily Tubert finished 10th overall with a 222 (73-73-76) while sophomore Regina Plasenica was tied for 19th at 226 (72-75-79).
