No new director yet for Main Street Rogers

Main Street Rogers did not name a new executive director at its Monday meetings.

Following a 20 minute executive session board members voted to give interim director Dana Mather a $12,000 raise beginning this month, but didn’t name her or the other finalist, Cindy Acree, of Aurora, Colo., as the new director of the organization. A total of 19 individuals applied for the position of executive director.

Mather was appointed interim director in early November when Kerry Jensen retired as the executive director of Main Street Rogers. Mather and Acree were named last month at the two finalists for the position.

Paul Hively, chairman of the Main Street board, said he hoped to name a director within the next 30 days.

“We are still doing our due diligence on the finalists,” he added.
