Americans aligning for Boston

People gather at the finish line ahead of Monday’s 118th Boston Marathon, along Boylston Street on Saturday in Boston. This year’s race is expected to feature one of the best American fields in a long time.

After the tragic events at the finish line of the Boston Marathon last year, many marathoners wanted to be in Boston this year, to show solidarity and to run the 26.2-mile race.
