Beaver Lake: Crappie are biting in the middle portion of Beaver Lake.

James Whittle at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers said crappie fishing is good from Horseshoe Bend park to Hickory Creek park. Use minnows or jigs 3 feet deep under a float around brush and lay-downs.

Black bass are biting all types of lures including jerk baits, crank baits, jigs and Alabama rigs. Fish along main-lake and secondary points or bluff ends. Bass fishermen are hooking an occasional walleye.

White bass fishing is good in the Twin Bridges area on the White River near Goshen. It's hit and miss in the War Eagle arm. Whittle said white bass may be found in any of Beaver Lake's major creek arms.

Steve McClelland at Hickory Creek Marina said crappie fishing is good. Crappie are moving into shallow water and are biting minnows or jigs in the buck brush 16 inches to 4 feet deep.

Beaver Tailwater: Lisa Mullins at the Beaver Dam Store said trout are biting white or yellow Power Bait tipped with a waxworm.

Small gold/silver Colorado spoons are the top lure. Effective flies include pheasant-tails, woolly buggers and soft hackles.

Lake Fayetteville: Dolly Black at Lake Fayetteville boat dock said crappie fishing is good with minnows or jigs 3 to 4 feet deep. Black bass are biting a variety of lure, including Rooster Tails and crank baits.

Lake Sequoyah: Mike McBride at Lake Sequoyah bait shop said crappie fishing is good 1 to 5 feet deep with minnows or jigs. Black bass are biting spinner baits or plastic worms.

Catfish are biting liver or shad. Bluegill are biting crickets 1 to 10 feet deep. Walleye are biting in the White River downstream from Lake Sequoyah on chartreuse crank baits or grubs.

Lake Elmdale: Lucky Key at Duck Camp Fishing Retreat said crappie are moving shallow. Try minnows or jigs 7 to 8 feet deep on the upstream end of the lake.

Lake Atalanta: James Whittle at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers said trout are biting Power Bait.

Black bass fishing is good with spinner baits and jerk baits. Most bass are small, but fish to 3 pounds have been caught.

Swepco Lake: Kenny Stroud in Siloam Springs said black bass are biting soft plastics 1 to 10 feet deep.

Siloam Springs Lake: Stroud said crappie are biting small jigs. Use shallow-diving crank baits for black bass.

Bella Vista: Matt Taylor at Hook, Line and Sinker in Bella Vista said black bass are biting Alabama rigs, crank baits or spinner baits.

Bluegill are biting crickets or worms 12 to 25 feet deep.

Upper Table Rock Lake: James Whittle at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers said black bass are biting Alabama rigs. White bass can be caught with jerk baits, jigs or grubs between Holiday Island and the town of Beaver.

Eastern Oklahoma: Kenny Stroud in Siloam Springs said black bass at Lake Eucha are biting jerk baits, jigs or Alabama rigs. Crappie are biting small minnows or jigs.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation reports fair fishing for largemouth bass at Grand Lake with Alabama rigs or jerk baits along points. Crappie are fair on minnows or jigs 15 to 25 feet deep.
