Amazeum To Hold Bentonville Groundbreaking

— There will be a "no shovel allowed" groundbreaking for the Amazeum at 10:30 a.m. today.

The ceremony will be in the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church, 901 N.E. J St. It's next to the Amazeum site.

Instead of shovels, there's a "surprise planned" that's "unique and indicative" of the programming the museum will offer, said Molly Rawn, director of development.

"We wanted to host a ceremony that reflected who we are as an organization," she said.

A third-grade class from Apple Glen Elementary School also will be there. Seating will be limited. The public is invited to attend.

The event will be held in the church fellowship hall in the event of inclement weather.
