HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital adding 20 beds

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner with Washington Regional, announces plans to add 20 new private patient rooms to its existing 60-bed hospital. Construction will begin in July and the project is expected to be completed in spring of 2015.

The 9,250-square-foot hospital expansion will include 20 new private patient rooms as well as approximately 2,250-square-feet of renovation including a new patient dayroom and additional support areas.

With this expansion, we will be able to provide services to even more patients with rehabilitation needs in the northwest Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southwest Missouri areas,” states Jack Mitchell, FACHE, CEO of HealthSouth Fayetteville. “Our hospital serves patients recovering from stroke, hip fracture, multiple traumas, brain injury, Parkinson’s, amputation as well as other conditions; and we know that this expansion will provide them with an even more pleasant rehabilitation experience.”
