15-year-old Arrested In Connection With School Threat

— Police arrested a 15-year-old boy Monday in connection with the latest in a string of threats found at Rogers schools.

A message was found Friday written in a boy's restroom stall at Heritage High School. The message was threatening, but did not mention harm to any particular student, said Keith Foster, police spokesman. The boy was arrested in connection with communicating a false alarm, a felony charge.

Similar incidents have been reported around the region. In Rogers, threatening notes scrawled on restroom walls were also found April 3 and 8 at Heritage, April 3 at Elmwood Middle School and April 4 at Birch Kirksey Middle School.

Detectives are investigating the other threats. Friday's incident at Heritage does not appear to be connected to the other incidents, Foster said.
