Radio Club

The Little Switzerland Amateur Radio Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the physicians building at Mercy Hospital in Berryville. Anyone with an interest in amateur radio is welcome.

The club meets at noon on the second Thursday of the month and at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.

Republicans

The Washington County Republican Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the GuestHouse International in Fayetteville. Members are urged to send in their proxy forms if they cannot attend. Speakers that evening will be Rep. Tom Cotton, Rep. Tim Griffin and David Sterling.

Ladies Day Out

The Bella Vista Ladies Day Out will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot across from Town Center's Arvest Bank. Participants will be going to Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant for lunch and then shopping afterward.

Christian Women

The Bentonville-Rogers Christian Women's Connection will host a "Welcome Spring" luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the community building at First Assembly of God in Bentonville.

Garden tips for spring will be featured. Lynette Riley will provide spring melodies. Pat Bantz of Bentonville will speak on "It's Your Gift -- Open It."

All women are invited. Cost is $11 inclusive. Child care is available.

Kingsdale Squares

The Kingsdale Squares will dance from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Caller will be Grant Roth.

The Bella Vista Ladies Bunco Group will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Concordia Retirement Center in the main building. Cost is $9.50 and includes the game and lunch.

Computer Club

"Search Engines -- How To Use Them" will be the presentation topic at the Bella Vista Computer Club meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the community room at Highlands Crossing Center (lower level), 1802 Forest Hills Blvd.

Hiking Club

Hill N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista will be traveling to Withrow Springs State Park, north of Huntsville, on Wednesday. Members will meet at Harps upper parking lot in Bella Vista at 8 a.m. in order to carpool to the hiking area. After the hike, members will lunch together at a restaurant in Huntsville. Guests are invited.

Quilts of Love

Granny's Quilts of Love will meet at 9;30 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge, 1300 N. Davis St.

Mercedes Club

Members and invited guests of the Ozark and Kansas City sections of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America will tour the facilities and vehicle inventory of the Elite Mercedes dealership in Springfield, Mo., at 10 a.m. Saturday. The dealership's staff will serve brunch-type refreshments. Following the tour, participants will have lunch at Hemingway's Blue Water Cafe at Bass Pro Shop and tour the shop's retail and museum facilities.

Ozark section members typically meet the second Saturday of the month. Times and locations vary, depending on the nature of the event. Event categories are driving, entertainment, social, educational, charitable, technical, exhibit and awards. Owning a Mercedes is not required.

Newcomers Club

The Fayetteville Newcomers Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2925 N. Old Missouri Road in Fayetteville, for coffee, refreshments and a monthly program. Newcomers to the area are invited to attend.

Quilters United

Joan Gould of Fayetteville, a former nurse who works on historic preservation projects, will speak at the April meeting of Quilters United in Learning Together. Gould's topic is "Touching Hands With the Past." She owns quilts from three generations of her family.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. April 24 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2898 S. 48th St. in Springdale. A social time begins at 6:30 p.m.

Republican Women

The Benton County Republican Women will meet Tuesday at Golden Corral at 2605 Pleasant Crossing Drive in Rogers. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the general meeting at noon. This month, the group will introduce Republican candidates for District 95 House of Representatives, Sue Scott and Dane Zimmerman, as well as Benton County Judge candidates Bob Clinard, Dale King and Ronnie Smith.

The group meets the third Tuesday of each month and is open to anyone.

Nature Society

The Flower Garden and Nature Society of Northwest Arkansas will meet April 26 at Northwest Technical Institute's Student Center, 709 S. Old Missouri Road in Springdale. The meeting will start at 10 a.m., with doors opening at 9:30 a.m.

Speaker will be Nan Chase, author of the book "Eat Your Yard!", which is about eating what we grow in our own yards. Her book will be for sale at the meeting. She will also speak about her new book "Drink Your Yard!" She is an author, journalist, lecturer, gardener and lives in Asheville, N.C.

The meeting is free for members, but others will need to pay $15 or the cost of a membership. A single membership is $15 and a family membership is $20.

Trail Association

Ozark Highlands Trail Association will meet at 6 p.m. today, with a board meeting at 5 p.m. The meeting will cover trail conversation, news, a short business meeting and a program.
