The Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants recently announced the election of new officers and members for 2014-15. Elected officers are:

President, Charlott A. Jones of Jonesboro; president-elect, Roy M. Boyd of Pine Bluff; vice president, Jerry E. Spratt of Maumelle; secretary, Julienne P. Penter of Jonesboro; and treasurer, Randy L. Milligan of Little Rock.

Newly elected directors include: Deborah K. Bays of Hamburg; Shirley Carman of Jonesboro; Todd T.Corley of Malvern; Chris N. Flynt of Bentonville; Martha A. Grant of Mountain Home; Amy G. BANKING

Iberiabank has selected Bill Edwards to succeed Chuck Quick, who is retiring in July, as president and chief executive officer and promoted Jay Meador to senior vice president and commercial banker.

Arvest Bank has announced the promotion of Chari Hillenburg to branch administrator for its main branch in Siloam Springs.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Clarity Pointe Little Rock recently announced the appointment of Rene Lesnak as director of community relations and Raylene Fones as community relations counselor.

FINANCE

Karyn Johnson has been named manager of clinic financial services for NorthArkansas Regional Medical Center.

The Arkansas State Bank Department has announced the promotions of Bob Henry to bank certified examinations manager; Raychel Pendergist and Chris Rittelmeyer to bank senior examiners; and Scott Lambert, Johnathon Welch and Mike Wilkins to bank assistant examiners.

The department has also hired Andrew McCormick as a bank examiner trainee.

LEGAL

PPGMR Law has named Brian H. Ratcliff a managing member and Chase Carmichael an associate at the firm’s new El Dorado location.

MEDICAL

Jean Marie Mulloy is the new director of cardiac rehabilitation at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Robert Steele has been named to the new position of senior vice president/chief strategy officer at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

NONPROFIT

Arkansas Foodbank has announced the addition of Whitney Vandiver Wellborn as major gifts officer.

Liz Marg is the new executive director for Hearts & Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center.

Scott Drumheller, a University of Arkansas at Little Rock alumnus, was recently appointed executive administrator of Lions Clubs International.

Aromatique Inc. has promoted Judy Balderree to executive vice president, merchandising/design and Carlton Collier to executive vice president, product development/strategic marketing.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

C Spire has announced the promotion of Alvin V. Ward III to area sales manager.
