FAYETTEVILLE -- Payton Stumbaugh entered the Bulldog Relays with three meet records already in hand.

Springdale Har-Ber's senior standout still had them when the meet ended, only the times have become a little bit better. Stumbaugh reset her records in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, as well as the 200 during Friday's meet at Ramay Junior High.

Lauren Lamaestra, Springdale, 29-3.5.

The Oklahoma signee started her performances with a time of 14.16 in the 100 hurdles, cutting off more than one-half second of her previous meet record. She cut almost 3 seconds off her 300 time, finishing in 43.75 seconds, then capped it with her 200 time of 24.63, almost a second off her meet record of 25.57 set two years ago.

"It went pretty good," said Stumbaugh, who also tied a meet record when she cleared 5 feet, 4 inches in the high jump. "I was proud of my times, but I could have run better. This was the first time for me to do a full meet as I get ready for conference and state.

"The 100 hurdles stood out more because my 100 hurdles have been feeling great. I've been getting lower on the hurdles, and I've been working hard on them. My times are nationally ranked right now. That was my best one."

Bentonville senior Logan Morton also broke three meet records, but had help doing hers. The only one she did by herself was the triple jump as her leap of 36-5 was 3 inches farther than the previous record set by Fayetteville's Sydney Conley in 2011.

Morton teamed with Jody Knight, Alexis Rolle and Taylor Mahone to break the 4x100 relay record as their time of 47.62, beating the previous mark set by Fayetteville in 2010 by almost 2 seconds. Morton, Knight and Rolle were also on the 4x400 relay team that finished with a time of 4 minutes, 4.94 seconds, edging the previous mark of 4:04.97 set by the Lady Tigers in 2011.

"I'm really excited about the 4x100 because we didn't run a 47 until the Meet of Champs," Morton said. "This is our second 47 we've run this season, and we're going to Kansas next week and try to win it at the Kansas Relays. It's really important to me and jumps out the most."

Har-Ber's Amanda Dillon did more than break a meet record with her time of 55.55 in the girls 400, bettering the previous mark of 57.59 set by Paige Farrell of Springdale in 2003. It surpassed the Class 7A state meet record of 55.9 set in 1984, and it is only .01 second off the 55.54 time Farrell set at the Meet of Champs in 2004.

Meanwhile, Rylee Robinson of Shiloh Christian cleared a meet-record 11-8 in the pole vault, breaking the previous mark of 11-6 set in 2004.

The boys also came away with a pair of records. Bentonville's 4x100 relay team of Dylan Little, Tyrone Mahone, Kary Collier, Keson Payton had a time 42.65, breaking the 43.09 run by Fort Smith Northside in 1995, and Har-Ber's team of Cameron Camp, Dallas Hines, Peyton Powell and Aaron Featherston snapped the 4x400 relay mark of 3:23.63, edging the previous mark of 3:23.81 set by Fort Smith Southside in 2010.

"It felt really good going out there," said Payton, who ran the final leg of Bentonville's 4x100 relay as well as win the triple jump and the 100. "The wind wasn't as bad as I thought. I was just trying to go out there and win for the team. I was just running and trying to get to the finish."

Bentonville also came away with both team titles. In the boys division, the Tigers edged second-place North Little Rock by a 150-107 margin, while Bentonville's girls compiled 210 points to 129 for runnerup Har-Ber.
