Celebrate Jesus

Parade to be held

EUREKA SPRINGS - The Western Carroll County Ministerial Association will have its annual Celebrate Jesus Parade and Concert on Friday and April 19. Music will be featured 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in Basin Park on Friday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 19. The parade begins at 2 p.m. and music will continue after the parade until 5.

The association is seeking Christian musicians and church choirs for performances and floats, banners and walking groups for the parade. Information is available by calling Dale or Laura Nichols at (479) 253-8925 or by email at [email protected].

Church sponsors Easter drama

ROGERS - Immanuel Baptist Church will present The Promise, a dramatic depiction of Christ’s life, Thursday-April 20. Presentations will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 2 and 7 p.m. April 19. The Easter Sunday performance will be at 6 p.m.

The drama will feature the archangel Michael battling with Lucifer in a biblical journey through time. Tickets are free and available by contacting the church at (479) 636-1230 or online at ibcgocenter.com. The church is at 2555 S.
