All board members were asked to resign and explain Hunt’s firing. They did neither before going into executive session at 9 p.m. The controversy began Feb. 7 when a motion to extend Hunt’s contract for one year died for lack of a second. Hunt has served the district 35 years, including 21 as superintendent.

The annual reports, most of which were sent Thursday and Friday to the families of Arkadelphia School District students, will include each student’s body mass index, a body fat calculation based on height and weight, as required under Act 1220 of 2003.
