SPRINGDALE -- Street improvement on Johnson Road will result in its intersection with Chapman Avenue to be closed Saturday.
The intersection will be closed from 6 to 10 p.m. when it is scheduled to open. Johnson Road is being improved from Sunset Avenue south to the city of Johnson. A new section of the road will extend almost to the Johnson interchange on Interstate 540.
As an alternative, drivers can use Carley Road to the west or Cambridge Road to the east with a return to Johnson Road along Don Tyson Parkway to the south or Sunset to the north.
