Bentonville Library Plans Event

BENTONVILLE -- The public library will celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with Love Your Earth, a teen event on Tuesday.

The event will start at 4:30 p.m. at Train Station Park on Main Street across from the library, 405 S. Main St., according to a news release.

Love Your Earth is co-sponsored by Compton Gardens. Presenters will discuss the importance of being environmentally conscientious. Teens can decorate clay flower pots and will be taught how to plant. Teens will also tour the library's rain garden and learn how it work.

The event is free for teens in grades seven through 12. Registration is required and open on the library's website calendar.
