The Beaver Lake Sail & Power Squadron will offer a free America's Boating Course starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Northwest Technical Institute, room 126, in Springdale.
Classes continue on April 18, 25 and May 2. The course covers the topics all boating topics. It satisfies the state law that requires people born on or after Jan. 1, 1986 to obtain a boating education certificate to operate a motorboat or sailboat on Arkansas waters.
