Mercy breaks ground on downtown Rogers clinic

ROGERS — Mercy broke ground this morning on a new medical clinic in downtown Rogers.

The 7,500-square-foot clinic will sit on the northeast corner of 2nd Street and E. Locust St., in front of Harps Foods.

Dr. Steve Goss, president of Mercy Clinic Northwest Arkansas, said the clinic is scheduled to open in September or October. Three family practice physicians and a nurse practitioner will work out of the downtown clinic.

This is Mercy's fourth clinic announcement in the past nine months. The medical system broke ground on a 7,351-square-foot health center in Centerton last month. It opened a 30,000-square-foot multi-speciality clinic in Bella Vista in December and a Senior Behavioral Health Program on the hospital's sventh floor in June.
